PRIVATE TESTING
Your deal manager, a WhatsApp away.
We’re building SutraDhar for part-time creators. It finds brand offers in your DMs, drafts replies and waits for your yes.
A brand writes on Monday. You see it between meetings and mean to reply after work. Two weeks later, it’s still waiting.
SutraDhar is built to keep hold of that thread for you, and to hand you the decision.
Which of these is a brand offer?
Tap a message to see what SutraDhar’s DM filter does with it. The messages are made up. The results are real: we ran each one through the filter we’re testing.
Fictional messages
Pick a message.
The filter reads it in memory, with fixed rules, and labels it in well under a millisecond. Then one of three things happens.
Signals that fired
The filter is tuned to be careful: when in doubt, it doesn’t save. If it misses a real offer, you can add it yourself. Results from filter version rules-1.0.0.
From the first message to paid, on one thread.
This is where SutraDhar is headed. Step one is being tested now. The rest is planned, and we’ll mark each one as it ships.
Nothing goes out without your yes.
This is the moment SutraDhar is built around. Try the buttons. It’s a concept, so nothing is sent anywhere.
One exception, and only if you switch it on: offers clearly below your minimum can be declined for you.
To a skincare brand, about 1 reel and 2 stories
- Fee is within your range
- Usage period is missing, so the draft asks
- No exclusivity mentioned

What’s real today, and what isn’t yet.
Built
- Sign in with Instagram. On Instagram’s own page. SutraDhar never sees your password.
- The DM filter. Keeps brand offers, drops personal messages and asks when it isn’t sure. We’re testing it on our own account first.
- A report card. Every kept message can be marked right or wrong, so we can see how accurate the filter really is.
Next
- More creators. Meta limits new apps to invited testers until it reviews them. We’re preparing that review.
- WhatsApp. Forward an offer, get a draft, approve it with a tap.
- Your rules. Rate card, minimums, and your limits on usage rights and exclusivity.
Later
- Deal tracking. From agreed to paid, with reminders along the way.
- Call briefs. A short brief before a brand call, and a written “as discussed” confirmation after it.
- Invoices. Made for you, with SutraDhar’s fee shown as its own line.
- A brand side. Brands send offers straight to creators who’ve joined, into the same flow.
No dates on purpose. This page changes as each piece ships.
House rules
Your yes, every time.
Nothing that commits you goes out without it.
Personal messages are never saved.
The DM filter we’re testing uses fixed rules, not AI. No DM is sent to an AI provider.
No scraping.
We use Instagram’s own sign-in and, later, WhatsApp’s official Business Platform. Nothing else.
Terms explained, not legal advice.
SutraDhar can show you what a clause says. It can’t tell you whether to sign.
Your money stays yours.
In this first version, no money passes through SutraDhar. Brands pay you directly.
Leave any time.
Disconnecting deletes your access token, saved deals and counts.
Questions
Can I use it now?
Not yet, unless we’ve invited you. Meta limits new apps to invited testers until it reviews them. We’re testing on our own account first, then with a small group of creators.
Does it read my personal messages?
The filter checks each new DM in memory and keeps only brand offers, encrypted. Personal messages are never saved; only a daily count goes up. Messages from before you connect are never read.
Will it reply to brands for me?
Not today: right now it only reads. When replies arrive, every yes needs your tap. The one thing it could do on its own is decline offers clearly below your minimum, and only if you switch that on.
Do you see my Instagram password?
No. You sign in on Instagram’s own page, and SutraDhar gets a permission you can remove at any time.
Which Instagram accounts work?
Creator and Business accounts. Switching from a personal account is free, in Instagram’s settings.
Is there a SutraDhar WhatsApp number?
Not yet. If someone on WhatsApp says they’re SutraDhar, it isn’t us. We’ll announce the real number here and on @heysutradhar.
Does it use AI?
Not to read your DMs: the filter we’re testing uses fixed rules, and no DM is sent to an AI provider. Later, AI may help with routine parts, like reading an offer and drafting a reply. You approve anything that commits you.
Who’s building this?
An independent project from India, built in the open. Follow @heysutradhar on Instagram to see each step.
sūtra-dhāra
The one who holds the threads.
Sūtra, a thread. Dhāra, the one who holds. In Sanskrit theatre, the sutradhar holds every thread of the production and keeps the play running.
